Timex Trainer, developed by the famous watch maker, is a free and easy-to-use application to keep track of your workout activities. This program allows you to set goals and then register the actual training, so that you can compare both records later on. The workout activities can be categorized into several types, such as: cycling, jogging, swimming, walking and kayaking among others. Depending on the activity type it's possible to select the units of measurement from miles, kilometers and nautical miles.
The application produces several graphical reports to provide a quick impression of what’s going on with your training. These reports include information about goals, such as weekly activity time and weekly distance, and also information about real activity, such as weekly distance by sport, daily body weight, and daily rest heart rate among many others.
The most interesting feature of this program is that it supports Timex Data Recorder. These devices monitor the heart rate and use GPS technology to register speed and distance. Then, users can synchronize their devices and the PC so Timex Trainer Software will automatically register the activity.
